“On Sunday, June 20, Buxton High School attended the Baptist Church to hear the sermon to the Class of 1915. It was a very rainy morning and many at a distance were kept away by the weather. The Rev. E.E. Small spoke from Dan. 1-8, the theme being ‘The Uplifting Power of a Noble Purpose.’
On Tuesday following in the afternoon the church was crowded with the parents and friends of the class and school to hear the graduating exercises, which were as follows:

“The graduating class of Hollis High School gave their graduating exercises at Knights of Pythias hall Friday evening. The honor parts were well delivered and were as follows: Valedictory, Miss Rose F. Bradbury; Salutatory, Miss Clementina Tyler; also two find essays by Revere and Edwin Smith.”
